About the Author
This site is written by Jason E. Marshall.
I am a practicing attorney in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I have a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science, and a Juris Doctorate. I have been interested in comparative religion, as well as spiritual and self-transformative practices for almost a decade. I have written several articles involving comparative religion, and esoteric subjects, and I am currently working on a book, which will hopefully be published by Fall 2012. I am also a featured writer for Living Stones Magazine (www.livingstonesmagazine.com)
I am married to a wonderful woman, Jessica Marshall, and I have one son, Jason II.
I created this site to share ideas involving how to truly live life to the fullest, which is admittedly something that I have struggled with my entire life. Until relatively recently, I was always waiting for the moment that I would be an adult, successful, “complete” in some way. I was always looking forward to conquering the next mountain (college, law school, career, family etc.) then I would be truly happy. However, when the attainment of these goals finally came they didn’t make me happy, I just looked forward to the next goal. Finally one day I realized that I needed to be happy where I was right now, and stop thinking that I will be happy in the future, after I do X. At the same time I also realized that I needed to move on from my past, and stop dwelling on past mistakes.
By practicing simple techniques, and making a conscious effort to tap into life, and all of its mysteries, you can begin to enjoy life and better deal with the peaks and valleys along the road of life.
I hope that you enjoy this site, visit it often, and share it with others.
Thanks for visiting!

Hi Jason! Thanks for visiting my blog! I love your About page! I have been basically been grappling with the same questions you had, except I’ve grappled/am grappling with them even before having “climbed how many mountains” before moving on to the next one, if that even makes sense
I think people on the same path are destined to find each other and will somehow always meet at some point, so I’m glad to have been led here to your blog
I definitely look forward to reading it!

Hi Jason! I’ve nominated you for The Reader Appreciation Award in my blog. Thank you for your support and happy reading/writing!
C.
What a beautiful site! I frequently have to be reminded to live in the moment. I’ll be reading frequently!
Thank you so much for the wonderful comment! My living in the now (mindfulness) practices are a work in progress, but I keep reminding myself to plug in and “experience life”, thankfully, I have found that my necessity for reminders has become less and less though!
Thank you, for sharing your story. I think you have a new follower because I’m newly eighteen and everything I thought would happen to me as an adult kind of drove me off course and I’m ambling on my feet trying to find my way.
Jason, your blog’s title caught my eye! Do you enjoy Eckhart Tolle?
I actually started this blog before ever reading any of Tolle’s work. I based the name off of the teachings contained in various Buddhist schools regarding living mindfully, living in the present, etc. However, after starting th blog, I had many people contact me regarding Tolle’s “The Power of Now”, so I read it, and I think he and I have similar view points! Thanks for stopping by and commenting, I think you have a wonderful blog as well!
That is wonderful! He is an amazing author. If you haven’t read it, I also heartily recommend “A New Earth.”
And thanks!
Hi! Thank you for the likes on my blog. Going to check out yours too. Have a great day

The eternal search for happiness never ends yet we continue doing so! its all in the mind, happiness is what we can feel every moment in every step of life.It was wonderful to know about you and to hear your honest confessions. Thanks for visiting my blog and Iam sure my posts will bring a ray of joy!
I love your titles, very grabbing! Makes me want to read them all right now even though I ma supposed to be getting ready for work! I am excited that you popped onto my blog, and look forward to exploring yours. Wishing you a successful journey, Cheri
Sounds like you and I will get along really well! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog, allowing me to discover yours!
Hi Jason, Thanks for reading and ‘liking’ my blog. Noticed in your blog that everywhere around the world thought about “happiness” was more about “achievements” in our prospective career….and we never thought about the simple things in our life as happiness. I learned mine too the same way that now Iam able to share with rest of people that “happiness” is all around us rather than all the “selfish” achievements we can always make.
Hello Jason,
I hope it is not too late to wish you a wonderful New Year. May 2013 bring you more happiness, love, and success. I would like to thank you because you keep following my blog. I hope my blog posts do not disappoint you and that your visits in there have been a joyful ride.
Thank you again, many blessings and much love to you.
