About This Site

This site will be dedicated to the journey, and the struggle, to live life in the now. This means experiencing life to its fullest potential, and truly experiencing each moment of life. Too often we tend to either focus only on the pleasurable aspects, or negative aspects of life, which leads to cravings, anxiety, worries, stress, and regrets. By living in the now, and enjoying the gift of life that is occurring this very instant, what happened in the past, and what may happen in the future loses significance. This does not mean that negative things won’t happen to you, but by living life fully in the now you will be able to handle the valleys of life with a greater ease. Also, by living life to the fullest you will not have as many regrets as you move through life.

In order to explore the journey of life, and living life to the fullest, this site will explore topics and techniques involving: spirituality, self development, stress reduction, and even the occasional how-to and current events discussion.

Please remember, that with every dawn comes a new chance to fully live in the moment. Embrace this chance, because only by living fully in the moment, in the here and now, can you begin to truly live.

Living in the present … is a present. Most definitely a cultivated present … it’s slightly more complex than “a gift you give to yourself” which i hear a lot. I think i say it a lot too! Anyway … we humans need to realize everyday how lucky we are to have the courage to live each day fully, without judgment, but with freedom and gratitude. “Any day above ground is a good one” … i’m sure i screwed up that quote … melis

I believe this is something we could all use help with. I love the concept of this blog. But, I have to ask, what do you mean by living in the now? I believe that statement means something different for everyone. Some people could be happy blogging whiles others want to climb a mountain. I believe everyone needs to find what makes them happy and live in their now. My dream is to get a book published, so I count myself as living in the now whenever I take a step towards that. I’m very interesting in follow this blog to see how you live in your now and how you help others do the same.

Thank you for you reading, and your thought provoking comment! To me “living in the now” is absolutely about doing what makes you happy, and that is different for everyone. Living in the now also involves enjoying the journey of life. I have always had a tendency to be so goal and dream oriented, that I solely focussed on the next mountain to conquer, rather than stopping, slowing down, and enjoying the path that leads to the summit of the mountain. Thanks again for the great comment, and I’m glad that you are enjoying my blog!

Your welcome, and I am enjoying it so far. I have to admit I’m more of a lurker when it comes to blogging, but I’m still there. I completely understand your version of living in the now. I have the same problem. I’m always looking ahead so I can relate! Maybe blogging can help so us down? Good luck on your blog and your goals!
